    Critical vitamins are missing.

You can get 100% of your:

    • Protein
    • Fats and
    • Complex Carbohydrates.

And most of your vital vitamins but not all:

    Vitamin B12 :

    • Red blood cell formation
    • Nerve cell protection & DNA creation
    • Energy production convert nutrients to energy

    EPA/DHA

    • Optimal brain and eye health
    • Lowers triglycerides and improve blood cell function
    • Reduces inflammation in the body

NOTE: Yes there is plenty of ALA in plant based food your body only converts 5% – 10% into EPA/DHA.

So if you are going to start the whole food plant based journey be sure you are supplementing.

  • Waking up…Dead?

Ever heard the story of a healthy person suddenly dieing from a heart attack?

It sounds weird until you understand how heart attacks work.

Your heart pumps blood throughout your body via your arteries.

When arteries become clogged with plaque its slows and/or stops blood flow.

    What creates plaque build up?

Beef, Chicken, Eggs, Dairy. The saturated fats in your body increase with eating those foods and the additional LDL particles oxidize, hardening inside the artery.

So back to the healthy person who has a heart attack with no symptoms prior.

You only need 30% to 40% blockage to have a heart attack.

And all of us can operate as normal on 30% to 40%.

    That is the scary part.

Stop rolling the dice with your life and switch to a whole food plant based diet.

  • Good Knees challenge..

    Do you have good knees?

There was a challenge back in 2022 to test if people had good knees.

You would squat and bounce to see if you could get back up without pain.

    Simple enough right?!

But why is this even a challenge?

Much like myself people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s tapped out.

Their knees could not handle it.

Since I have started my plant based journey I have been to run and lift 6 days a week. Almost no knee pain and little soreness.

My body is actually healing itself faster than before on animal protein.

Maybe it’s time for you to have “good knees” too.

  • You need a Go To Meal

What’s the one thing you remember growing up eating?

Mine was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

I am sure I had 4 to 5 of those every week from 3 years old and through college.

    It was a Staple.

These staple items are things you know you can eat them multiple times a week with minimal effort.

One of my favorite meals requires:

    • Minimal dishes used
    • No heat/oven/microwave
    • Meal agnostic (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)

Peanut butter roll up: High Fiber wrap, peanut butter, granola, ground flax, banana, and honey.

    What’s your “Go To” Meal?

  • Where the hell do I start?

So you drank the Kool-aid, huh?

    Good.

They best thing you can do to get started on your whole food plant based journey is pick one day a week you will not eat animal protein.

No eggs. No milk. No chicken. No beef. No turkey. No fish.

  • Unexpected problems with the diet

It’s been 6 weeks since I had any animal based protein.

I feel amazing but there is a problem.

    I have too much energy.

If I don’t exercise I am kind of jittery.

While I know the proper diet improves your energy, I was not expecting having too much.

If I don’t exercise I struggle to fall asleep.

I may have to adjust the amount of fruit I am eating.

  • You are not a Lion

“We are supposed to eat meat!”

Lions are the mighty King of the Carnivores.

Roaringly amazing creatures that pounce and

Opportunistic scavengers, if they come across a half eaten wildebeest, it’s “chow time.”

And they eat everything eyes, bones, bladder, colon and it’s contents 🤢.

    They waste nothing.

How do they eat all of that?

They have Uricase enzyme that digests purines from animal protein. (Humans don’t have this enzyme)

And they also have liver enzymes (like transaminases and urea cycle enzymes) which processes proteins at high and constant rate.

Lions also have short intestinal tracts so they can pass animal proteins before they start to ferment (becoming carcinogenic).

Please don’t eat like a lion eat like the human.

  • I’ll have Lipitor with those fries

Americans spend $500+ million dollars a year on fast food.

Addicted to the best food engineering has ever made.

This tasty addiction has a cost.

    Cholesterol.

Lipitor is one of the highest grossing prescriptions of all time at $160 billion.

Doctors have even jokingly suggested adding a Statin to french fries because we eat so much if them.

That way we can clog and unclog our arteries at the same time, dubbing it the McStatin.

Our health is in our hands.

Doctors don’t offer cures but treatment.

We can literally eat our way to health.
